  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp white chocolate chips
  • 2-3 drops red food colouring
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • red and pink sprinkles
  • whipped cream

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan, warm the milk over medium heat until it starts to steam, being careful not to let it come to a boil.
  • Stir the white chocolate chips into the saucepan and continue mixing until they are fully melted and blended into the milk.
  • Mix in the sugar and stir until it is fully dissolved.
  • Add 2-3 drops of red food coloring to the saucepan and stir until the color is evenly mixed. For a richer red shade, feel free to add more drops.
  • Heat the mixture for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it is hot and fully combined.
  • Take the saucepan off the heat and pour the red velvet hot chocolate into mugs.
  • Add a generous scoop of whipped cream on top of each mug.
  • Garnish the whipped cream with a sprinkle of red and pink sprinkles for a festive touch.
