Servings 6 Oreos

Ingredients

  • 6 chocolate oreos with vanilla filling
  • 1/3 cup white chocolate drops
  • 2-3 pieces dark chocolate
  • 2 red edible nose beads
  • 8 colorful skittles
  • 1 tsp white sprinkles
  • 1 tsp orange sprinkles
  • 1 drop pink food coloring
  • white and yellow confetti
  • 4 chocolate chips for eyes
  • 1/2 green ribbon candy
  • 1 rainbow ribbon candy

Instructions

Rainbow

  • The simplest version of these cookies features a rainbow design. Select two sets of four Skittles in different colors. Melt the white chocolate using a double boiler.
  • Use a teaspoon to spread the melted chocolate over the cookies. While the chocolate is still warm, arrange the Skittles in a rainbow shape.
  • Decorate the edges with white sprinkles and confetti to resemble clouds. Refrigerate for 20 minutes to set.

Pot of gold

  • Melt the dark chocolate.
  • Separate the Oreo cookies, keeping the filling intact. Dip rainbow candy in melted chocolate and place it on top of the filling.
  • Cover with the second half of the cookie. Coat the Oreos completely in the dark chocolate.
  • Decorate the edges with yellow confetti and sprinkle with edible glitter. Your pots of gold are now ready!

Leprechaun

  • Start by cutting green ribbon-shaped pieces for the leprechaun hats. Test the fit on the cookies and trim them as needed with scissors.
  • Each cookie will require two rectangular pieces. Use the first cutouts as templates to make additional copies.
  • Tint the melted white chocolate with a light pink foodcolor. Spread it over the Oreos, then position the hat pieces on top.
  • Add chocolate chips for eyes and a small red candy bead for the nose.
  • Create a beard using orange candy balls. Chill the decorated cookies in the refrigerator until the chocolate is fully set.
