Course Dessert, Snack
Servings 12 pops

Equipment

  • parchment paper
  • Microwave

Ingredients

  • 36 large marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup red candy melts
  • 1/2 cup white candy melts
  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup red heart sprinkles
  • 12 lollipop sticks or decorative straws

Instructions

  • Skewer 3 marshmallows onto each lollipop stick or straw, leaving a small gap between them to make dipping and decorating easier.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips in 20-second bursts, stirring after each interval, until smooth. Make sure not to overheat the chocolate.
  • Hold each stick and dip the marshmallows into the melted chocolate, then gently tap the stick against the side of the bowl to remove any excess chocolate.
  • Place the chocolate-coated marshmallow pops onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper to allow them to set.
  • Melt the white and red candy melts in separate microwave-safe bowls. Use a spoon or piping bag to drizzle the white candy melts over the chocolate-covered marshmallows, then follow with the red candy melts. While the candy melts are still wet, sprinkle heart-shaped decorations on top.
  • Let the pops cool and the chocolate set completely. Once fully hardened, they’re ready to be served and enjoyed!
