Halloween Candy Bark

It’s only July, but I like to plan my Halloween recipes early. That way, when things get busy in the fall, I already have a few fun treats ready to make. This Halloween bark candy is one of my favorites to prepare ahead of time. It’s colorful, easy to make, and great for sharing.

This Halloween bark is made with melted candy in different colors. You swirl the colors together and then add toppings like broken pretzels, candy corn, and Halloween-themed sprinkles. It doesn’t need any baking; just some time to cool and harden. Then you break it into pieces.

Step by Step Guide

1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat to prevent sticking.

2. Place the white candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second bursts, stirring between each round, until completely melted and smooth.

3. Pour the melted white candy onto the lined baking sheet. Use a spatula to spread it into a smooth layer, about ¼ inch thick.

4. In separate bowls, microwave the orange, purple, green, and black candy melts using the same method; 30 seconds at a time, stirring until melted and smooth.

5. Spoon dollops of each colored melt over the white base. With a toothpick or skewer, swirl the colors together to create a marbled, festive design.

6. Quickly sprinkle on the candy corn, crushed pretzels, and Halloween sprinkles while the candy is still soft. Lightly press the toppings into the surface to help them adhere.

7. Leave the bark at room temperature for 1–2 hours to firm up, or place it in the fridge for about 30 minutes for a faster set.
